Throughout his life, God used many people to mold David into the man and leader he came to be. This 11-session Bible study looks closely at those people, but also helps us focus on the people God brings into our lives for the same purpose. This is a companion study to Robert Koester's book Agents of Grace: The People in David's Life and in Yours.

Current Topic: How We Got The Bible - Learn about the production, collection, transmission, and preservation of these marvelous works in How We Got The Bible, featuring video clip from Dr. Paul L. Maier, in this five-part Bible study. This Bible study will survey the historical development, textual transmission, and publication history of the Bible as it has come down to us through the centuries. With special emphasis on God's divine activity through the Spirit-inspired authors of the Old and New Testaments, this study will show how the Bible is His book, His Word-revealed to man that they might know the way of salvation as revealed by the prophets and made real in the flesh through the life, death, and resurrection of God's son, Jesus Christ.
