Target Audience: Adults
Description: Our new Growth Groups start in September! Groups of 8-12 adults meet weekly for about 7 weeks to meet new people, form Christian friends, and strengthen the bonds of our fellowship here at Immanuel. The group will meet wherever they choose for snacks, refreshments, and visiting. They will also consider discussion questions from the previous week’s sermon. Target Audience: Children ages birth to 5 and their caregivers
Description: Welcome! We are so excited to resume our in-person Mornings with Mommy sessions. These one hour long, educational play dates give you the chance to spend quality time with your child without the stress of finding activities to do. It’s also a place to find a community of people in the same season of life, who can support you through the difficult days of parenthood.

Monday, January 24 - April 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. - DivorceCare
Target Audience: Adults
Description: DivorceCare is a tool that can be offered to your church family members that may be struggling with divorce or separation. It is a Bible-based 13-week program designed to help those who are separated or divorced deal with life challenges that come with their situations. The weekly meetings cover topics like anger, depression, loneliness, financial survival, childcare, and forgiveness to name a few. Past participants in the program have indicated that they have grown significantly closer to Jesus while adjusting to life as a single person as a result of their attendance. Past participants have also been very thankful for the fellow Christians they meet while attending the sessions. Many past attendees have developed long-lasting friendships as a result of their time together in the DivorceCare program.

This class meets every Wednesday at Immanuel in the Christian Life Center from 8:45-9:45AM. Please enter at door 6. - Tai Chi for Beginners Class
Target Audience: Adults
Description: Tai Chi is a slow, graceful exercise with continuous movements that are suitable for anyone and can be practiced anywhere. It promotes a calm mental focus and alignment while building leg strength, endurance, and balance.

Every other Thursday from 9:30 am - Noon (Beginning November 4, 2021) - Fiber Friends
Target Audience: Adults
Description: If you enjoy doing handwork (knitting, crocheting, embroidery, tatting, hand sewing, etc.), please know that fellow Fiber Friends will be gathering in Immanuel's Emmaus Library every other Thursday beginning November 4. The library will be open from 9:30-noon so come stay for the entire time or any portion of those hours. This group will continue to supply Immanuel with handmade baby hats that are presented whenever a baby is baptized. They also have made prayer shawls that are given to shut-ins or whenever a need is expressed. The stock on both is just fine at the moment so please bring your own projects, your own drinks/snacks, and enjoy the fellowship!

This group makes quilts among other items and enjoys fellowship and fun. Description: A program designed to bring immediate and long-lasting results to the way a person thinks, feels, and acts. What Is Truth Therapy? Utilizing the resources of the Christian faith, the power of the truth and the Spirit of truth, truth therapy empowers people to break from the tyranny of anger, depression, anxiety, perfectionism, and other emotional difficulties. Those who attend will be enabled to identify their own misbeliefs and replace them with the truth. Based on the premise that people feel and act the way they think, freedom from emotional anguish and behavioral paralysis is possible if true thoughts replace the lies a person believes.

Target Audience: Adults Struggling with an Addiction
Description: Christian Recovery supports those struggling with addiction....substance abuse, pornography, gambling, anxiety, etc. It is a combination of small group Bible study and fellowship. It is a Christ-centered 12-step program enhanced with Biblical references. It can be a start or help along the way to following the road to recovery. Christian Recovery will meet at 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday at the CORE, a 922 Ministry. New faces are welcome!
