Current Topic: Bible Discovery exists to share God’s love and his plan of salvation with children on a weekly basis. Through interactive Bible stories, songs and crafts children discover God’s Word. This fifteen lesson Bible study will examine these and other historical events that took place on the journey to the promised land. Each Sunday reviews a different event of the Israelites' journey under the leadership of Moses. This is a great opportunity to review this portion of God's Word. Current Topic: If we were hiring leaders to head a corporation, we would want experienced, outgoing, and wise individuals. That would seem to make the most sense from a human perspective. Jesus chose men to be leaders in the early church who had little experience, not so outgoing and needing wisdom. By the power of the Holy Spirit, God changed ordinary men into awesome leaders. The encouragement for us is this. God can take ordinary people and turn them into great leaders, and that includes you. Over five weeks we'll spend time looking at the lives of Peter, James, Paul, Barnabas and John.

Current Topic: Midweek Oasis is a chance for Bethany’s 55+ members to take time out in the middle of the week to come together around the Word. Pastor Mark teaches Midweek Oasis at Bethany's Parkway campus on Wednesday mornings as he brings the class through books of the Bible. Members of the class regularly bring home-baked treats to share, so come early for food and fellowship as well! Our Fall session of Midweek Oasis will start in the lower-level fellowship hall on September 12. Our theme is titled, "Hard Sayings of Jesus." Under it, we'll examine some of Jesus' more controversial or confusing statements and discover the the profound truth they contain.
